Sean Alexander is a qualified European Patent Attorney as well as a Canadian and U.S. Patent Agent. He has worked in the IP field for many years and is currently the Head of IP Strategy (H&N) for Chr. Hansen in Denmark. Prior to joining Chr. Hansen, Sean headed the IP team at Elanco Inc. based in the Netherlands and was a Partner with Gowling WLG in Canada. Sean has been recognized as one of the world's leading IP strategists by IAM Magazine and is regularly praised for his pragmatic and commercially aware approach to IP.

Lena Pauschenwein is a jurist specialised in intellectual property law and works in the Intangible Economy Unit of the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission.
Lena holds law degrees from the University of Vienna (Magister iuris) and the University of Glasgow (LLM), both with a focus on intellectual property and technology law. Prior to joining the European Commission in 2021, she worked at the Austrian Supervisory Authority for Collective Management Organisations.

András Jókúti, LL.M.
Andras Jokuti is an intellectual property lawyer with proven domestic and international experience in public IP policy and university technology transfer. Since January 2022, he is the Director of the Patent and Technology Law Division at WIPO. He is the former Director-General for Legal Affairs of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office. As a Fulbright scholar, he obtained an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law (2015) at The George Washington University (Washington, DC). Between 2019 and 2021, he assisted the Budapest University of Technology and Economics to strengthen its IP and technology transfer operations.

Matthai Philipose
Matthai is a researcher in the Mobility and Networking Research group at Microsoft Research.
He builds systems for recognizing human state, especially human behavior, based on sensor data. Matthai's focus is on statistical algorithms for recognition, but he is interested in model elicitation, rich representations of "common sense", sensor design, infrastructure design and high-performance/low-power implementations as well. Matthai is currently looking at the question of how and why to build perception systems on mobile phones.

Barrie Mullins
Barrie has 25+ years of experience working with edge, embedded and AI systems across multiple industries including industrial, automotive, robotics, storage, and communications. Previously, he spent a year at Blaize as head of marketing, and three years at NVIDIA where he led the Jetson Product Marketing team. Prior to NVIDIA, he held multiple roles in Xilinx, including leading product marketing and management for the Zynq product line, sales enablement, business development, customer program management and managing design services. Barrie moved to the United States in 2007 from Ireland, where he worked for Xilinx and two starts ups, Raidtec Corp. and Eurologic Systems, in the Data Storage space where he holds three patents.
Barrie received his EE from the Munster Technological University, an ME from University College Dublin and an MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business.

Bhupender Thakur
Bhupender Thakur is Product portfolio owner for several High Performance and Big Data platforms for research and early development at Roche. He is the Agile product portfolio owner of on-premise HPC services delivering compute and storage clusters in several locations across the USA, Germany and Switzerland, and product owner for workflow applications for NGS and Oncology research supporting Roche Avenio product offerings.
Bhupender leads a cross functional squad of developers, product owners, architects and subject matter experts, working on roadmaps for existing and new research offerings and leading discussions on planning, lifecycle, operations and business continuity.
He holds a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Nuclear Physics from the University of Delaware.
