“Dr. Hubertus Schacht M.A. is a judge with 7. Bench at Regional Court Munich 1. He specialises in patent infringement proceedings, including PI (preliminary injunction), AASI (Anti-Anti-Suit-Injunction), discovery and main proceedings. The cases he decides cover all fields of technology, from mechanics, chemistry and telecommunication to life-sciences. Many of his cases involve FRAND-issues. Hubertus studied law at universities of Munich and Geneva as well as Philosophy in Munich. During his legal education he worked with law firms in Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Mumbai. He wrote his legal thesis on 2nd medical-use-patents at Technical University of Dresden, which was awarded with the faculty prize.
