Advancing menstrual health equity through the power of data and storytelling
Periods are a normal and necessary function of the human body. But all too often, society sees menstruation as a taboo topic – something we just don’t talk about. And that’s a problem. The silence due to stigma can negatively impact quality of life and result in delayed care, needless suffering, and even long-term complications. Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to break the silence by enabling menstruators to share their unique lived experiences, build empathy and understanding, and change the conversation about periods and menstrual health.
