Oded Margalit

Prof. Oded Margalit, has a Phd in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University, worked for years on Machine Learning, optimization and cyber security. Worked at Haifa research lab of IBM. He is currently the CTO of Citi’s cyber-security innovation center and computer science department of Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

One of the Leaders on the Data, Privacy and AI Governance team, Mimoza is primarily focused on building governance at scale products involving data sources and AI models. Together with her team at MassMutual she is driving democratization of enterprise data for better insights and usage consistent with our principles and regulations.

Prior to joining MassMutual, Mimoza held key positions with other investment and hi-tech companies in Boston, where she was a leader on Data Governance, Data Quality and Business Analytics. She has utilized AI tools and techniques to integrate information, analyze data, and use the resulting insights to improve decision-making process.

Mimoza holds a master’s degree from Harvard University in Information Technology and she is a candidate of PhD in Information Technology with concentration on Data Science and Predictive Analytics. She enjoys working for MassMutual, a company that fosters innovations and advancements in the field of technology.

Mike Bursell joined Red Hat in August 2016 in the Office of the CTO, following roles working on security, virtualisation and networking. After training in software engineering, he specialised in distributed systems and security, and has worked in architecture and technical strategy for the past few years. His responsibilities at Red Hat include security strategy, external and internal visibility, and thought leadership. He is one of the co-founders of the Enarx project (https://enarx.dev).

Mike Bursell joined Red Hat in August 2016 in the Office of the CTO, following roles working on security, virtualisation and networking. After training in software engineering, he specialised in distributed systems and security, and has worked in architecture and technical strategy for the past few years. His responsibilities at Red Hat include security strategy, external and internal visibility, and thought leadership. He is one of the co-founders of the Enarx project (https://enarx.dev). He regularly speaks at industry events in Europe, North America and APAC.

Professional interests include: Linux, confidential computing, open source software, security, distributed systems, blockchain, NFV, SDN, virtualisation.

Mike has an MA from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the Open University.

After obtaining his PhD at the Chinese and Bilingual Studies department of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he worked in several academic institutions, including CSAIL (MIT), in the group of Regina Barzilay. Enrico has published over 50 papers on topics related to the application of Artificial Intelligence to Precision Medicine, Epidemiology, Oncology and Cardiology. His work includes research on natural language processing approaches for the automatic fake news detection and sentiment analysis.
Enrico collaborated to the creation of The Prayer (artist: Diemut Strebe), a mouth-shaped robot which produces original prayers and that was exposed at the Centre Pompidou of Paris. He is the first author of a fact sheet about Artificial Intelligence for the American Congress (https://www.belfercenter.org/publication/technology-factsheet-artificial-intelligence) and, in 2019, he was invited speaker at the Record Management Office of the White House.

Claim to fame: From art to science, from politics to healthcare, Enrico has shown how natural language processing and machine learning will be impacting our lives in the years to come.
