Meghan Purdy
Meghan Purdy is the Lead Climate Product Manager at Jupiter Intelligence, where she manages Jupiter’s flagship physical climate risk product, ClimateScore Global. In this role, she works with scientists to build high-quality, decision-useful hazard metrics, loss metrics, and risk scores across eight perils: flood, wind, rain, hail, drought, heat, cold, and wildfire. She then works with firms and government groups to quantify their risk and to integrate those analytics into risk decision-making processes.
Prior to Jupiter, Meghan worked at Risk Management Solutions (RMS), the world’s leading provider of natural catastrophe models to the insurance industry. There she worked in data science, consulting, and product development, where she helped users analyze catastrophe model data, perform model change management, and develop their own view of risk.
Meghan has a B.S. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Harvard University.
