Lynn O'Connor leads Ingleside, a premier, charitable not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult opportunities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Based in Rockville, MD, Ingleside is the parent organization for three CARF-accredited, SAGECare platinum LGBT cultural competency credentialed, charitable not-for-profit, life plan communities and its affiliates, including: the Westminster Ingleside Foundation and Ingleside at Home, a not-for-profit, charitable home-based care program. Ingleside’s family of communities include: Ingleside at Rock Creek (Washington, D.C.), Westminster at Lake Ridge (Lake Ridge, VA), and Ingleside at King Farm (Rockville, MD). Lynn has worked in, and led aging services organizations since 1980, serving as President & CEO for Frasier (CO); President & CEO, The Washington Home & Community Hospices (VA, MD & D.C.); Executive Director, Asbury Methodist Village (MD); Superintendent, Buttonwood (NJ); Administrator, Rittenhouse Care Center (PA); and Administrator in Training, Key Circle Hospice (MD). She has broad and extensive experience in the older adult living profession including but not limited to: finance, board relations, operations, strategic planning, resident and staff relations, fundraising, external relationships, affiliations, and growth. Lynn has a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from St. Joseph's University, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University, and certification in long-term care administration from the University of Maryland. She is a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA) in MD; former LNHA in PA, NJ, and Washington D.C., is a Certified Aging Services Professional(CASP), and is a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional (CMDCP) .
